Mystic Moon were created at Peristeri, Greece the summer of 2004 by Akis Bouklas on Vocals, Chris T. on Drums, Jimmy Priest and Jim Bousoulas on Guitars. Later in the same year Domenico Doomangel Pritis joined the band as the rhythm guitarist and Jimmy Priest took the bass. With this Line up they recorded Bleed With the Moon at Studio Live which was intend to be released in a Split cd with Secret Island (the Dark Nightmares Drummer, band), but the split never released.
This is the first zero point of the band, with no reason of existence there is nothing to keep the band together. Jim Bousoulas leaves the band and the rest are seriously considering of stop the band.
Ice is covering the whole thing about Mystic Moon until the day they start rehearsing once again. Jimmy Priest is taking his position back at the guitar and Mystic Moon with a new Vision to guide them are starting to composing new material. After many ideas they come to create 3 new songs: Omnia Sunt Excisanta, Pale Divine, Denial.
Which they recorder at Studio Live with the help of Nikos Pappas as the bass player.
Another zero point for the band with no lives or a release of a demo. The composing is continuous and Mystic Moon manages to create another 3 new tracks: Babylon, Sun Demons, Silent Light.
Jim Asfis is finally the bass player and with a good number of songs is time for Mystic Moon to get on stage.
For that reason a cd entitled Beyond the Final Doom were created and distributed to these Lives for people to hear the music of Mystic Moon, but this wasnt an official release.
During a month Mystic Moon shared the stage with names such as: Marauder, Nocta, Embrace Fire, Nadir, Crystal Flame, Indestructive, Lilith.
It is time for things to be organized and so the band is scheduling the release of a 3 track Promo (Omnia Sunt Excisanta, Pale Divine, Denial), before the Demo. This is the way to officially say we are here, a Promo for the media and the fans to have a clue about Mystic Moon before the release of the Demo which will be released around Christmas entitled Doom...Forever...Dreaming...
The first reviews for the Promo 2005 were enthusiastic but still more will follows until the release of the demo. The full tracklist of the demo will be: Omnia Sunt Excisanta, Sun Demons, Pale Divine, Silent Light ,Babylon, Denial.
All the songs were recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio Live, Athens, Greece.
