Hexagram was just an idea back in 2003 when Aaron wrote a few songs at home after being in a few unsuccessful metal bands. This was just the start of what has been a long journey finding musicians that could fit with the music style and professionalism Aaron was aiming for.
In 2006 Marty joined on Bass, Hexagram were a complete three piece with Nick Menyhart on drums, they entered a internaional competition for BEST THRASH METAL band on Total Rock radio, the prize for winning was to play at the Bloodstock Open Air festival in 2007, cutting along story short Hexagram won their category and played the festival, which had other acts performing such as Testament, Lacuna Coil, Dark Tranquility and Arch Enemy. They also won a local award for best metal band in 2007 and things looked set to be great for Hexagram. After a few shows with Nick though, things didnt seem to be working out, so Hexagram parted ways with Nick and looked for other drummers to fill the slot, Adam joined Hexagram on drums early 2008 and has fit in perfectly and the band is more solid now than it had ever been since 2005!!
Hexagram worked hard on their debut album taking time out of the gigging cicuit to get this done, they have also finished shooting a music video for their track 'Absence Of Trust' which features as the opening track on their debut album - Rhymes For The Hated -
The alubm is due to be released May 2008 and the video around the same time, Hexagram are preparing for a lot of shows 2008-2009 and are looking to hook up with a label that can help get their music out to as many people as they can.
