Biography After leaving Louisiana in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, Blade Bloodchild settled in NW Arkansas and joined Ft. Smith's local legends Afterlife in late summer of 2006. Following the spring 2007 Hellfest @ the Rockyard in Ft. Worth, TX, Afterlife tooka break, during which Blade began a side project called Unbled.
After recording a couple of demo songs by himself and being unable to nail anyone down for an Unbled lineup, Blade decided to re-christen the project BLOODCHILD. At about this time he made the decision to not return to the Afterlife fold and has since been replaced twice (good luck Afterlife! I still love you guys!). The debut CD from BLOODCHILD was scheduled for an Autumn '07 release, but Blade is a dumbass and got really pissed one night and erased all of the masters due to unsatisfaction with the mix and weak sound of the drum machine. New recordings are in the works now. BLOODCHILD is returning to the NOLA/Northshore area this Summer and should have debut CD in hand when we arrive. |
